特別収容プロトコル: SCP-2996は サイト-81の標準的な 無形実体用真空房に収容します。この真空房は4機の非物質変位無効装置（nPDN）を取り付けます。SCP-2996による特定の娯楽用品の要請は状況に応じて許可されます。

週に1回、SCP-2996には必ずサイトの心理学者による定期心理検査を受けさせ、その精神状態を診断します。現在のSCP-2996の精神的健康状態に対する懸念から、必要に応じてクラスH静電的記憶処理治療を適切に使用することが承認されました。

説明: SCP-2996はインディアナ州ナッシュビルの廃屋で発見された クラスII霊的人型実体です。SCP-2996はヨーロッパ系の黒髪と青い目を持つ若年の人間女性であり、全身に及ぶ多数の傷と、右目の大きな銃創が目視で確認できます。SCP-2996は本来霊的な実体ですが、nPDN装置の採用により財団職員はSCP-2996を物理的な状態に「固定」して検査することが可能になりました。これらの装置の使用とそれに伴う収容状況がSCP-2996の精神的/感情的な状態を悪化させている原因となっていると現在仮定されています。

SCP-2996は自身を1929年、インディアナ州ナッシュビルで殺害された8歳の少女Emily Nashであると主張しています。様々な情報源から得られたデータはEmily Nashが彼女の自宅にて遺体で発見されたという主張を補強していますが、しかしながら、記録上の死因は自殺とされていました。インタビューの際、SCP-2996は自殺を示すあらゆる証拠を拒絶し、幾度も熱心に殺人犯は近所の親しい友人である13歳の少年James Franklinだと述べました。1929年のナッシュビルにおいてこの人物の実在は確認できませんでした。更なる情報収集の取り組みを継続中です。

精神鑑定結果: 私が懸念を抱いているのはSCP-2996の感情面における健康状態だ。対象は明らかに自身の死について示されている証拠や、また収容されている現状に対して反感を抱いている。インタビューを通じ、SCP-2996は己を殺人犯に対する復讐を為すためこの世界に留まり、肉体の束縛から解き放たれた強力な霊魂なのだと信じていることが明らかになった。この認識は無論、我々がSCP-2996に提供した対象の死因に関する情報と、サイト-81における対象の収容との双方に真っ向から対立している。SCP-2996については多数の事実が曖昧なままで、これが対象の不安感を煽り、付随して鬱病や自滅的な思考を招いてしまった。この存在の性質を考えれば、後者こそが最大の懸念である。
