特別収容プロトコル: SCP-3187-JPの直接的収容は不可能であるため、現在の収容手順はアノマリーの影響を受けた対象の正常化に焦点が置かれています。サイト‐81ETとサイト‐81KKの人員から構成される近畿共同ネットワーク (KJN-KE)がNx-74 (“神音町”)を始めとする阪神地域に配置されており、SCP-3187-JPの終期段階を経験した対象を確保する役割を担います。

確保された民間人は財団の影響下にある療養施設へと収容され、社会復帰のための治療と手続き並びにSCP-3187-JPの情報を収集するためのインタビューを行います。記憶処理薬の不足と対称の肉体的衰弱を考慮し、事後処理には疑似科学的医療説明がカバーストーリーに用いられます。

説明: SCP-3187-JPは幼少期に車内に放置されたトラウマの記憶が現実化する異常現象です。SCP-3187-JPは、以下に示す条件をすべて満たした人物 （以下、対象）に対して稀に発生します。

  • 自身が3～8歳の際に車内に一人で放置され、長時間に渡って監督者等に発見されなかった。
  • 車内の放置を認知しているにも関わらず、自身で車外に出ることが不可能な状態にあった。
  • 当該出来事を現在まで強く、またはある程度記憶している。
  • 幼少期に近畿地域内に居住していた。

SCP-3187-JP発生の標的となった対象は、段階的に複合的な異常現象を経験します。影響の初期段階（11～13日間継続）において対象は睡眠時に軽度の悪夢障害と夢遊病に酷似した症状が現れ始めます。対象は自身が停車した車の内部に放置され、そこから脱することが不可能な状態にあるという内容の悪夢を頻繁に経験するようになります。また、悪夢を経験している際に睡眠状態にあるにも関わらず、無意識の歩行/移動状態に陥ります。これらは7回の睡眠につき1回程度のペースで発生し、しばしば対象の精神/肉体状態に悪影響を及ぼします。

影響の中期段階（26～30日間継続）が始まると、これらの影響が現れる頻度は悪化します。悪夢は3回の睡眠につき1回程度のペースで現るようになり、対象は睡眠中に無意識に長距離を移動していることを自覚し始めます。また、中期状態の顕著な変化として悪夢を経験する際の対象の意識が明瞭化することが挙げられます。意識状態が変化したことによる変化、もしくは初期状態においても同様の状態にあったのかは不明であるものの、対象は悪夢において常に同じ車内の後部座席で拘束された状態にあることを認識します。財団のインタビューにおいて、全ての対象は悪夢を経験している際にこの拘束状態から逃れようとしたと発言するものの、それに成功した証言は確認されていません。この段階において多くの対象は強い精神/肉体的苦痛を経験し、また疲弊による意識の混濁が発生するようになります。

影響の終期段階（4～9日間継続）において、対象の意識の混濁が深刻となり睡眠状態と非睡眠状態の区別が困難となります。大半の睡眠において車内に拘束される悪夢を経験し、睡眠中の移動はより長距離かつパターンの存在しないものに変化します。

この段階を数日経験した後、対象の悪夢と苦痛は現実化します。

意識の混濁の過程で、対象の身柄は悪夢で経験するものと同じ車内に拘束されます。車は低速でどこかに移動しており、何時間にも渡って緩やかに前進を続けます。運転席の状態を確認することは不可能であり、どのような行動を以ても拘束を逃れること及び車の運転を止めることは出来ません。

車外は深夜と思わしく暗闇のため、視認ではその環境を認識困難です。夜空には常に黒色の天体が存在し、環境の識別が困難であるにも関わらず対象は例外的にこの天体のみを明瞭に認識することが可能です。また、対象は当該の天体を視認することに不合理かつ原因不明の強い恐怖感情を抱きます。

長時間において運転が続くため、対象は意識が曖昧化していきます。この状態で睡眠を取った場合、再び対象は同様の車内に拘束された状態で目覚めます。対象がこの状況から脱することは決して出来ません。

数時間の経験の後、対象は車外かつ拘束が解かれた状態で、阪神地域の不特定の地点（約7割が兵庫県内であり、その半数が南東部）で目を覚まします。これ以後、SCP-3187-JPの症状は全て終了します。対象はこの時点で強い疲労状態にありますが、数週間から数か月程度の休息の後に、大半の例で正常な社会状態に復帰しています。

補遺: SCP-3187-JPは長期に渡ってサイト‐81ET職員により多角的な研究・分析がなされてきました。SCP-3187-JPは主に対象の精神状態に影響を与える一方で、終期段階においては対象の物理的距離を移動させ特定の拘束状態に晒します。対象の証言もその精神状態の悪化によるものから、半ば“信頼できない語り手”と見做されており、その真偽が疑われている状態にあります。

2020年7月14日、サイト‐81ET積理学派所属職員は、既知のSCP-3187-JP間に数多くの類似点が認められることを指摘しました。これを踏まえ、各SCP-3187-JPの解析に基づき対象らの経験した車内拘束事件のタイムラインをシミュレートしたところ、かれらが幼少期に遭遇した車内拘束が極めて類似していることが明らかになりました。車内拘束事件がそれぞれ独立して発生したものだった場合、タイムライン同士には一定の偏差が見られるはずですが、今回算出された偏差は予想を大幅に下回るものでした。

なお、SCP-3187-JPおよびその対象となった人物は既に50を超えています。

この原因の理由は認知/認識改変、過去/現実改変、記憶改変と予想が多岐に渡り、現在まで真相は不明です。アプローチ実行者による、SCP-3187-JPが過去に発生した未特定の集団事件の反復であるという主張は、数ある仮説の一つと見做されています。
